All Girls Reunion

All that can be said is that this reunion was a HUGE SUCCESS and we had a ton of fun. The people make the party and our people were awesome! We wish every classmate and every teacher could have been there with us. The Friday night dinner at Tunk's, planned by Linda Boudreaux, was great fun and theSaturday spent on Lake Kincaid was a blast. We all brought a potluck dish to share for lunch. June Wall hauled two party barges to the lake for us to enjoy, which we did immensely. Cindy Bize brought tons of memorabilia for us to look at and reminisce. Judy Flournoy brought her blue beanie from our freshman year – that was good for a long hard laugh when she modeled it for us. Adrienne Dunham made a remembrance poster of all our deceased classmates and teachers and a slideshow of pictures from our senior yearbook and past reunions. Since they were unable to attend our reunion, they had their own mini-reunion in New Hampshire. More reunion pictures will be added as they are received from other classmates.

Saturday we had more time to visit with each other. We really had and still do have some characters in our class. Judy Flournoy, Linda Boudreaux, Peggy Roblow, Ann Hart, and Mildred Carbo are all full of mischief. June Wall is just impossible to describe. She tells one hysterical story after another. Jackie Gilchrist, Gracie Bono, and Theresa Bono were like the three wacky Musketeers in high school and nothing has changed with them.The laughter was almost non-stop from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM when the party broke up. The quiet ones didn't have to worry about being quiet because there was enough commotion for everyone. Sister Alma Rose was the only teacher who could join us and she hung in there with the best of them. It was just a hoot! Everyone wants to do it again. Hopefully the whole class will be able to join us at that time.
